I know it's generally recognized as a comedy classic but I'm afraid
the heavily booted Jimmy Cross' "I Want My Baby Back" left me
unmoved---as did his "Ballad Of James Bong" and "Super Duper Man"
followups.

When I did my radio tribute to Vee Jay Records a couple of months back, I did NOT play the Jimmy Cross record! I figured, I was better off airing one more tune by Jimmy Reed or the Spaniels.
