On Friday night, October 26th, at 10:00 p.m. EDT, I'll be airing the SOUL EXPRESS' end-of-the-month countdown show. This time around, it's WVKO in Columbus, OH, for their chart dated October 21, 1963.

Featured artists include Maxine Brown, Little Johnny Taylor, Garnet Mimms & The Enchanters, Betty Harris, Lloyd Price, James Brown, Carla Thomas, Little Stevie Wonder, Brook Benton, the Miracles, Joe Hinton, Mary Wells, the Fiestas, Booker T. & The MGs, Jerry Butler, and Solomon Burke. The survey also includes jazz numbers by Lou Donaldson, Jimmy Smith, Arthur Prysock, and Kenny Burrell.
