In the Fats Domino original version yes (tho over here in Britain it
was always "Ain't THAT A Shame" even in the Fats version back in the
day)

But I think pretty well every version since then (including the two US
covers by Pat Boone and Ronnie Gaylord) have all been titled "Ain't
THAT A Shame". That includes the later Four Seasons hit version plus
recordings by John Lennon,Cheap Trick etc etc.

OTOH there are quite a few songs with the "Ain't It A Shame" title but
all the ones I know are completely different songs to the Fats
classic.
