The late Johnny Maestro of the Crests and the Brooklyn Bridge will be
honored with the naming of "Johnny Maestro Way" March 26 in Staten
Island, New York. Ceremonies will take place at the intersection of
Midland and Mason Avenues there. New York's Mayor Michael Bloomberg
signed a city council resolution approving the street name on December
20. The honor will come slightly more than a year after Johnny's death
to cancer.

Believe it or not there's a street a few blocks from here named for
Tommy DeVito.

You don't think they'd (re-) name the Brooklyn Bridge (sic) after him,
do you?
That would be a street too far...
